What is the Revival Ready Assessment?
The Revival Ready Assessment is a self-evaluation tool for pastors, church planters, and ministry leaders who are praying for revival and want to prepare to receive and steward it. It works across six domains of readiness: Theological, Spiritual, Relational, Leadership, Ministry, and Logistical.
Why prepare for something only God can send? Because preparation is our part of the work. We cannot summon revival or control when it comes. What we can do is remove impediments, cultivate the conditions, and position ourselves to receive it.
Our preparation is never wasted. A deeper prayer culture, real relational trust, sharpened discernment, a readiness to be interrupted: these are elements that prepare us to steward a larger move of the Holy Spirit. They are also what the church is always called to have. If they seem exceptional it is merely a sign we have gotten used to spiritual decline.
This assessment will provoke fruitful and honest conversation about where genuine preparation is happening and where gaps remain. It is not a report card, but it is a window, or a mirror, that can help you see more clearly - so that your church can close the distance between a longing for revival and actually being revival-ready.
