Our Affirmations
Commitments & Affirmations:
We espouse no cause but Christ and His Kingdom.
We affirm the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, as our divinely inspired and authoritative rule for faith and practice.
We affirm the Apostles Creed:
“We believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.”
Our Values
Humble Confidence
Because pride is the enemy of revival, we resolve to stay humble, teachable, always improving, always learning. We maintain a growth mindset. As non-leader leaders, we always seek to keep the attention and focus on Jesus, not ourselves. James 4:6-7
Laboring Prayerfully
The American Church doesn't need more resources, talent, or expertise; it needs God. God's power is accessed through prayer. Jesus worked prayerfully - only doing what he saw the father do, in the power of the Spirit. We follow his example. Unless the Lord builds the house, the workers labor in vain. Psalm 127
Trust and Friendship
Because revival moves at the pace of friendship, we make it a priority to build and maintain trust and strong partnerships with each another, and with local churches, church leaders, networks, and network leaders. No one church or organization can steward regional revival.
Kingdom First
Motives matter to God and he sees them. The pure in heart will see God. We seek first the Kingdom. If revival comes, we are willing to be a spark lost in the flame. As Abraham was willing to surrender Isaac, we place God's Kingdom over everything else, including our names, platforms, and organizational brand. Matthew 6:33
“First Love” Culture
The first job for revival leaders is to zealously guard their own flame, the first love culture of their hearts.
